yarh. SO. for the FFIV group, we were discussing who would be who, and originally we're like EMILY'S DAD CAN BE TELLAH but then we thought NO LET'S MAKE HIM BE YANG. And then suddenly Jill became Tellah. XDDD

I had a lot of fun making Yang for my dad. It was pretty simple and comfortable. The pants are cotton which I painted the print on. The waist scarves, one is a yellow stretch cotton sewn to the pant as a sort of waistband and the other is a zebra print charmeuse that ties. The wrist thingies were made by my dad. The pants have jersey ankle ties as well.
The wig is made out of a wig I bought for $7!! XD I took it apart, and sewed wefts to a felt piece which could be spirit glued to my dad's head XD It's braided in the back and has trim around the ponytail top and bottom for decoration.
He bought his mustachiooo himself and I painted on his tattoo.
It was interesting making an Amano styled costume for my dad, because I'd make things that suit my tastes and he'd be like EW I DON'T LIKE IT and I'd be like NUUUUUUU then make it super plainly and it'd be to his tastes. XDDD It was fun to kind of relax on the details though and just make a simpler costume.
