Talking with ~aerismog, i realized how little plans I have for this year that are set, and I really am not sure what to make! hahah

I've started organizing some things!!!

ºSpring NYC photoshoots: Rhyme and Rydia!

ºSakura Matsuri: Lolita or Margarita Surprise or Miwako or Maya!

yeah I said I wouldn't cosplay Maya but then I listened to some PW music and I found a few yards of some light pink cotton and a wig I can dye for her sO BAM

ºOtakon is (still) really vague.

I've already ordered my wig + extensions for Margarita, and I have most of her fabrics. : > Just need to buy some dyes! I think I'll be making her in the next couple of weeks.

Otakon is really vague right now and I normally have a ton ton ton ton of plans from months or years before hahaha.

Katsucon was a lot of fun, a great mix between super busy and chill times!!
I actually met people this time?? I met people at a con!!! Wow amazing! Woohoo!! I'm too shy to talk to people at cons but I'm so glad I met people, they're all great!!

I had fun with my friends, as always! Photoshoots were also really really great. This has been a really exciting time, all of the photos I've gotten back have just blown me away!! Everyone takes such great photos and everyone is super friendly and nice and beautiful ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm so excited seeing all of the cosplay photos my friends are getting back, too, everyone is beautiful!!!!!!

I made Madoka and Rhyme for Katsu! And I wasn't really happy with how either of them came out. But thanks so much to everyone who cheered me up!! C :
I was especially worried about Madoka since I finished it all at home and didn't have a chance to put it all on before the con  OTL All of the photos make me look 1000000% better than the costume actually is hahahah but UGHU Thanks so much *m-squaredphotography, it's always such a pleasure to work with you both, always so sweet and nice!!  and *SoulFirePhotography for achieving some Meguca suffering feels :3 Both of them took amazing photos!!

I really love seeing Throwback Thursday from cosplayers, so I made one, despite how horrific and embarrassing it is. haha






Sigh hahaha So this is from ....2007? 2008? (Photo by lionboogy I think!) omy. My first costume was Kid from Chrono Cross, which I commissioned and for some reason insisted that they use gold trim on my jacket and skirt. And it didn't even fit me properly hahaha  I was 13 I think. The dagger in the sheath was a PENCIL. I'M NOT KIDDING ahahhAHh I think the only good thing about this is I am much skinnier hahaahhha

In comparison to my most recent big project (Rydia, photo by ~diamondcrevasse), I certainly know I have improved! And I will work to continue doing so ! :3 Oh and I figured out how to apply make-up which is an improvement hahahah


It'd be fun to remake Kid sometime, she's one of my favorite characters!! c: (she is just so thin though it makes me nervous I won't look good in her outfit XD)

So I normally attend AB and I really really love to go since all of my friends go, but I may be going to Fanime this year! My buddeh ~Kaiami sells in the AA every year! So it's possible I may go with her to Fanime!!! 8DDD I have never been to anywhere but parts of the East Coast and I've never been on a plane before, I'm nervous even now ><; All of these things will be new! I don't know which con I will go to but either is possible at this point so we'll see?? I don't want to miss out on an opportunity to attend a West Coast convention because it may be my only chance !
I don't know what I'd cosplay at Fanime and I also know no West Coast cosplayers or photographers ghugiugi haahahaha I'll be on my ownnnnnnnnnnn QQ~~~~~~

As for Ota, I'm not sure of my plans! Maybe a Rikku, I definitely want to do Odin Sphere even if I'm aloooone and I think we're doing some Moon Children from Majora's Mask wee. Woohoo back from MAG! I had a lot of fun. c: Peach was a lot of fun to cosplay and I met some really nice Marios ! I'm used to being called Princess by Links, not Marios and Luigis, and there are so many Mario cosplayers @__@ hahaah

I got some stuff while I was there! My brother bought me this Balthier pin (uweehee) and I finally bought a black fuzzy Luma from Omonomopoeia! [link] They have such cute stuff for sale, everyone should check their store out! I love lumas and I've been almost buying one for many years now hahaha

PROGRESS/ UPDATES:

I was making FuSoYa for my little brother but I didn't want him to be in beard/wig + layered capes in B-more's heat ><; So instead I'm making a WW Link costume for him XD;

For Rydia, I have most of it done now! I'm just working on the leg things atm, and I lost my shoes so I've been looking for them (for about a week ..heh...). Otherwise I am just waiting for my grommets to get here in order to put them into my corset and other things :> The corset was SOOOOO much fun to make. I was really really worried since I haven't made one before. But I researched corsetmaking for a bit and then got to work XD I drafted the pattern myself, so I was worried if that would work too, but it turned out exactly as I wanted it to. I've also started beading and adding glitter, so it's been interesting XD Especially on my 15 foot long cape, I've been adding glitter to that for well over a week and I'm nowhere near done OTL
Still haven't ordered fabric for other costumes oopppppppssss >>; just did it uweehee
