eieieeieieieei Katsuya put lovely photos up of our group and I am just so excited >3<
I love how this photo came out!! I really tried to capture Zelda's personality, so this was what came to mind when not posing with my harp ^0^~

Construction wise, this dress is made from a white satin blend fabric. Oh it's just so gross and I hate it and it frays to no end. WHY DID I BUY IT. too late now XDD It's also too stiff for my tastes, so if I find some other fabric that is a decent price and more like what I want, perhaps I will remake the dress entirely.
The dress I patterned myself and I'm not fully happy with it, so I'll probably alter it a lot before the next wear/ remake. :B
The bracelets my word. I hate them hahah I painted them to have a weird gradient but I want them lighter so I'll remake them.
The wig I bought from the cosplay.com marketplace, it's actually an Arda wig >O< i got lucky and got it super cheap. It's a bit too dark, but oh well. I left it long because I like her hair longer :3 Her hair in the front is stuffed with sponge curlers to give fullness, hair wrapped and then the ribbon sewed in.
The shoes are base sandals with ribbon attached.
Ta-da~

Thanks!! I'm actually really upset with it haahaha. I think the way I approached it was not the best, but I know how to improve it. So what I did was to cut out the shape of what I wanted, two of them, then I stitched the edges together. It got messy really fast since my fabric was fraying galore. I would suggest the same approach, but draft the shape while on a dressform (so you know it will sit correctly), cut 2, interface it, and then satin stitch it together. Hope that helps!! :>

SO LOVELY~!

But yeah. SATIN. Good God I hate satin. In some pictures, it gives that tacky "Party City" look (but this turned out looking really nice!).
